Through the municipalities of Mompox, El Carmen de Bolívar and Cartagena it was where this Thursday the pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Alexander Charlie, began a raid through municipalities of the Colombian Caribbean.
“The Caribbean knows and recognizes everything that has happened in Barranquilla, and it is time for Colombia to give us the opportunity to project that on a national level,” Char said at the beginning of his dialogue with the Caribbean people who received him.

When meeting with artists from Monpox, where the candidate was received to the rhythm of jazz, Char included in his agenda extolling and supporting the festival of this artistic manifestation that takes place there.
“Culture is important for the development of the people of our towns, and of course both jazz, as well as gastronomy and all this heritage heritage and other manifestations will be part of the country of opportunities,” Char said as he said goodbye to Monpox.
After visiting Monpox, Char and his entourage traveled to the municipality of El Carmen de Bolívar. There he met with merchants who aspire to boost the economic recovery that was affected by the pandemic.

Char highlighted the importance of strengthening agricultural production, especially products such as avocado, yams, mango, cocoa, orange, tobacco and sugar cane, among others.
Arriving in the city of CartagenaChar emphasized the boost that must be given to tourism in the entire region and the recovery of the entire economic strip that constitutes this important region of the country.
“In the exercise of public management, the works speak for themselves, in addition to the joy of the people who feel that they have been attended to and that they continue to advance day by day. That is what we want to do for Colombia. The Caribbean has it all, what it needs is to be served from the center of the country”, the candidate pointed out.
