The people of Armenia are moved by the case of Moisés, a mestizo puppy who was waiting for his owner for three daysan elderly street dweller known as Adolfo, who these days is hospitalized at the San Juan de Dios hospital.
Now, Moisés has been temporarily adopted by a local company while Adolfo manages to recover from the lung infection that afflicts him and keeps them apart.
The story became known through social networks, since the older adult had spent several years standing next to the traffic light in front of the INEM José Celestino Mutis educational institution, in northern Armenia.
Although the man is still hospitalized at the San Juan de Dios departmental hospital, the puppy was only separated from his master when he was temporarily adopted by a well-known businesswoman from the city, who wanted to give him a home while his owner recovers and can return to Moisés.

Moisés is a love, he is super docile and very nervous. He cried a lot missing his mistress, but he ate well“said businesswoman Sammy Quiceno.
The woman explained that the dog did not move from the hospital, until it was about getting there, but -obviously- they did not let him enter. “A nurse even told me that the man tried to get up to bring food to the dog but because of his condition they did not let him go and they had to sedate him,” she said.
According to the information received by Quiceno, the separation between Moisés and his master took place last Saturday. “The man was suffocating. Some people helped him and sent him in a car with the puppy and his things to the hospital. It was there that the puppy had to stay outside,” he says.
In addition, the businesswoman said that they are also trying to help the puppy’s owner.
“Some people who work at the hospital and who saw my social networks have contacted me. We are trying to help as much as we can, I am not collecting money, but a person made a deposit of 70 thousand pesos to my company account With that we are going to buy him some things he needs, because he has no family, no clothes or anything,” Quiceno said.
The homeless older adult requires pajamas, diapers, and some medications that are not currently available at the hospital. “The nurse who contacted me and who was on duty last night told me that she needs 14 ampoules of medicine and cleaning products,” the woman concluded.
