The Ministry of Health delivered this Friday, February 25, 2022, a new report on the progress of the pandemic in the country, which accounts for 2,159 new cases and 80 deaths.
In addition, it reported that 33,372 tests were processed (16,250 PCR tests and 17,122 antigen tests).

In the country, to date, 33,118,905 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia reaches 6,058,715 confirmed cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report accounts for 80 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total death toll in Colombia amounts to 138,501.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, 2,828 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 5,883,546 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.
In total, there are 15,106 cases that remain active in Colombia.
How is the National Vaccination Plan going?
As for the progress of the National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 p.m. on February 22, 76,733,198 doses of the covid-19 vaccine have been applied in the country. Of that figure, 35,132,642 correspond to the first dose; 27,250,687, to second dose; 8,229,013, to booster doses, and 6,120,856 are from the single-dose vaccine.
