Luz Gómez is the wife of Juan Carlos Moreno, the man who was driving the bomb used in the terrorist act in the Pantano de Vargas Battalion 21, in Granada (Meta). She assures that her husband is not a terrorist, but that he was deceived and is one more victim of the illegal armed groups.

Gómez reveals that her husband was born in Granada, they were married 14 years ago and had a 13-year-old son. In addition, Moreno had two other children from another relationship and for several years worked in well-known supermarkets in the town, including La Paila and Megallano.

The versions circulating in Granada indicate that last Wednesday he was carrying some rubble and when he was with another truck driver he received a call to provide a service.

He picked up his load and went to the place of delivery, the 21 Pantano de Vargas Battalion. They would have placed a box on top of the food that he was carrying in the parcel, which would be the one that contained the explosives that they would have activated remotely.
The driver of the freighter was killed, as was a soldier, while four more uniformed personnel were injured.
Juan Carlos was veiled at the family residence, as his wife Luz fearlessly expresses it, and the funeral was held this Friday afternoon at the María Auxiliadora church in Granada.

For Luz and the three children of Juan Carlos it has been a very difficult blow. “He was a very good dad, he was very honest. My husband is not a terrorist, he is one more victim“, concludes Luz Gómez.
