Members of the Traffic and Transportation Section of the Valle Police seized 212 kilograms of cocaine hydrochloride that were transported on a bus of special service that covered the route Pasto – Cartagena.

The incident occurred at the authorities checkpoint located on the Media Canoa – La Virginia road, at kilometer 74.
The authorities specified that people who pretended to go to a excursion to CartagenaSome of them even stated that they were given the tour, while others argued that they paid $500,000 for an all-inclusive excursion.
According to the Police, in this way they sought to cover up the transfer of said cargo and evade the authority controls.

In the police procedure, the two people in charge of the vehicle were captured, who were placed at the disposal of the Attorney General’s Office for the crime of trafficking, manufacture or possession of drugs.
The Police details that the seized drug would have a market value of two million dollars and was possibly destined for Central America.
Although the Police did not specify whether the captured people were part of an organization or mafia dedicated to drug trafficking, many remember the ‘narcobus’ that went on an excursion in Cali and crashed in Ecuador and left 24 people dead.
