This Friday the results of the most recent Invamer survey were revealedin which citizens were questioned about their position regarding the use of face masks, euthanasia, the free carrying of weapons and other issues of public interest to Colombians.
According to the technical file, issued by Invamer, 1,504 men and women over 18 years of age were surveyed by the quantitative analysis company.

Decriminalization of abortion up to 24 weeks

One of the most controversial situations in recent weeks has been the decision of the Constitutional Court to decriminalize total abortion up to six months of pregnancy.
Many sectors of the population did not agree with this sentence and the Invamer census shows it: 83.2 percent of those consulted disagreed “that women can abort up to 24 weeks of gestation“; while 15.4 percent declared to agree.
In the capital cities, the margin was not as marked, but the rejection of the Court’s measure continues to be 79.1 percent, compared to 18.9 percent approval of the measure.
Euthanasia in cases of intense suffering
The right to die with dignity is not synonymous with euthanasia, but there are several mechanisms.
“Do you agree or disagree that people in Colombia have the right to euthanasia when they suffer intense physical or mental suffering from a bodily injury or serious or incurable disease?”, was the question asked of the respondents regarding euthanasia.
In this case, 68.5 percent of those consulted claimed to be in favor. Only 29.4 percent declared themselves against euthanasia.

Oil and coal exploration was one of the issues in question.

69 percent were against and 29.1 percent declared themselves in favor.

56.5 percent were against it and 39 percent were in favor.
Do you agree with the use of face masks being eliminated?
53.6 percent were against and 43.8 percent declared themselves in favor.
Are you satisfied with your standard of living?
45.8 percent agreed with the things they can buy and do, while 53.5 percent said they were dissatisfied.
