The peak and license plate measure is still in force for 2- and 4-stroke motorcycles in Medellín and Risaralda.
The restriction of the peak and license plate in Pereira includes motorcycles that circulate in the city. The digits are the same for cars and motorcycles and are: Monday 0 and 1, Tuesday 2 and 3, Wednesday 4 and 5, Thursday 6 and 7, and Friday 8 and 9.
Vehicles cannot circulate between 7:00 in the morning and 7:00 at night through a strip demarcated by the Pereira Mobility Institute. This area includes the city center and surrounding areas where there is a large vehicular flow.
In addition to this, there is an exempt corridor that includes several avenues and the César Gaviria viaduct, which connects the city with Dosquebradas.
As for Medellin, motorcycles whose license plates begin with the following numbers and on the days indicated are not allowed to circulate – between 5 am and 8 pm: 6 and 9 on Mondays, 2 and 3 on Tuesdays, 4 and 8 on Wednesday, 0 and 7 on Thursdays, and 5 and 1 on Fridays.
