At the Puerta de Oro Events Center in Barranquilla, the 38th edition of the Equine Fair is taking place, organized after 10 years of not coming to the city, by Fedequinas.

The event takes place for 4 days, until Sunday the 20th of this month and it will be possible to observe equine specimens from different parts of the country.

During the four days, the best breeding horses in the country will be judged in four modalities, one per day.

In competition there will be 540 horses from 19 departments along with exhibitors, breeders and fans. The federation set up 144 boxes, a grandstand for 600 people and 30 commercial stands in the main area of ​​the event center.

The care, effort and investment made by breeders and caretakers in the animals are highlighted so that they can be exhibited with success and beauty in the contests in which they participate.

It is expected that the Colombian Paso Criollo horse be exhibited in high-profile venues at a national and international level and that the fair begins a tour of the main cities of the country.

On Thursday the trail and gallop were judged, today Friday the trot and gallop, on Saturday the trail will be judged and on Sunday the Colombian Paso Fino, a modality declared Genetic Heritage of the Nation in 2017.

Held in Puerta de Oro from February 17 to 20, after ten years of absence in the city.
