The Mayor’s Office of Bucaramanga filed a complaint with the Attorney General’s Office against the Temporary Bucaramanga School Union, for alleged irregularities and inconsistencies.
After making some tours of the warehouses and educational facilities, “alleged inconsistencies in the fulfillment of the obligations by the two operators were evidenced, which is why (…) the respective requirements were made for the operators to speak out and correct the identified findings, if not, it will be determined to apply the pertinent sanctions”, they indicated from the Mayor’s Office.
Ana Leonor Rueda, Secretary of Education of Bucaramanga requested “the immediate intervention and investigation of the Attorney General’s Office and the different control entities to determine the corresponding responsibility,” the official said.
The spokesman for the temporary union, Alfonso Llamas spoke about the fact.
“We do not have any notification about an investigation by the Prosecutor’s Office. The matter of the invoice is that an operator was negligent and surely asked for another supplier that was not on the list authorized by the mayor’s office, but the brand that was used is the same one sold by the other provider,” Llamas said.
