Animal abuse: dog died from kicks by a teacher in Jericó - Other Cities - Colombia

A violent case of animal abuse would have been recorded in the village of Palenque, in Jericó (Antioquia). According to the complaint made through the Animal Connection Twitter account, a small dog known as Tony died after being attacked by a teacher.

The teacher, the complaint says, kicked the animal several times in the presence of her students. Finally, the dog died.

Tony, it seems, frequented the classrooms and was known by the student community. “Those who knew him say that he was friendly with children, playful, affectionate and noble,” they point out from Conexión Animal.

The fact has caused great rejection through social networks, where hundreds of people have strongly condemned the teacher’s actions and request an exemplary sanction. In this regard, the Twitter account where they make the complaint indicates that the case was reported to the authorities and that the Ministry of Education will initiate an internal process against the teacher.

In addition, a sit-in was called for this Sunday, February 27, at 3:00 pm in order to demonstrate against animal abuse and in memory of Tony.
