According to the most recent report of the Ministry of Health of this Sunday, December 12, they were reported in Colombia 6,572 new cases of covid-19 in the last hours. This, after 24,053 tests were processed (13,917 for PCR and 10,136 for antigens).

(Read: Mortality in the ICU was 30.5 percent at the first peaks of the pandemic)

Thus, the country reached 6,014,563 confirmed covid cases since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report shows 189 deaths more for the virus. With this update, the total number of deaths in Colombia amounts to 136,953.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, there were reported 5,785 recovered patients. In this way, there are already 5,821,103 Colombians who, to date, have overcome covid-19 in the country.

In total, there are 35,736 cases that remain active in Colombia.
