Covid-19 in Colombia: deaths and cases today March 1, 2022 - Other Cities - Colombia

This Tuesday, March 1, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the pandemic in the country, which accounts for 1,218 new cases and 87 deaths.

In addition, it reported that 30,251 tests were processed (10,297 PCR and 19,954 antigen tests).

In the country, to date, 33,224,395 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia reaches 6,065,801 confirmed cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report accounts for 87 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total death toll in Colombia amounts to 138,854.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, 1,967 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 5,892,530 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.

In total, there are 12,622 cases that remain active in Colombia.

Regarding the progress of the National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 pm on February 27, 77,329,888 doses of the vaccine against covid-19 have been applied in the country. Of that figure, 35,193,876 correspond to the first dose; 27,425,176, second dose; 8,555,664, a booster dose, and 6,155,172 are for the single-dose vaccine.

In Colombia, 33,580,348 people already have the complete vaccination schedule.
