“It was possible to determine that two people identified as Hugo Leonardo Lafur Medina, 61, and Miriam Rosa Simanca García, 54, would be the alleged perpetrators of the crime,” said Colonel Héctor Giovanni Ríos, Police Commander of the department of Bolivar.

Lajub Medina and Simancas García were captured in the departments of Atlántico and La Guajira, where they had taken refuge.

Among the evidence of the authorities against these two people are several pieces of clothing that were seized from them cwith human fluids and traces of blood, which presumably belonged to the victim.
