The man accused of murdering 15-year-old Nickol Valentina last Thursday was identified as Pedro José Trujillo Pérez and is being prosecuted for having stabbed the young woman in the middle of a robbery in Bucaramanga, when she had just left school.

Mayor Juan Carlos Cárdenas reported that it is a man of foreign origin.

“A few minutes ago, together with the Police, we captured the murderer of Nickol Valentina in Barrancabermeja; this bastard will have to pay for the pain it has caused the family and all citizens. Justice will be done. Bucaramanga is in mourning. What a pain all this!” She said on his Twitter account.

The Police tracked the security cameras surrounding the tunnel since Inside the place there are no cameras.

Since Thursday, the National Police had a specialized group to capture this criminal and hand him over to the competent authority, a fact that occurred on Friday night.

Details of the alleged murderer and how they got to him are not yet known. The police confirmed the capture and announced that they will release these details later.
