Pedro José Trujillo confessed to the murder of Nickol Valentina, a minor under 15 years of age who was leaving her school on Thursday, February 24, when she was approached by this subject in the tunnel of the Mesón de Los Bucaros interchange. Trujillo had the objective of stealing the cell phone from the minor and in the middle of the theft she gave him three stab wounds that ended her life.

Last Sunday, February 27, a Bucaramanga judge sent him to jail after charging him with the crimes of aggravated theft and aggravated homicide.
The man was taken to the medium security prison of Palogordo, in Girón, where he will have to wait for know the penalty to be paid for that crime that shocked the city.

Rodrigo Parada, a criminal lawyer, indicated that the sentence will be greater than 40 years and that You will not be able to access a discount.
“Law 1098 prohibits this type of benefit in three crimes: sexual, against life and crimes against the freedom of persons, in this case the same law prohibits any type of benefit that this person can access,” Parada said.
In social networks there was talk of a possible reduction for accepting the murder. However, the lawyer indicated that this is a right but that he does not give it a discount.
“He has the right to accept charges, to waive a trial, but for that resignation he does not receive any discount, there is no right to benefits“, concluded the lawyer Rodrigo Parada.
Criminals who commit crimes such as murders and kidnappings are held in the Palogordo prison.
