The Attorney General’s Office released a serious case of domestic violence involving Jhon Alexis Montoya Pino, a 31-year-old driver, in events that occurred in Envigado, Antioquia.

According to the complaint filed by the victim, on the night of November 22, 2021, she was in her home when she was woken up by a blow to the face by her sentimental partner, who allegedly le stated that she had just dreamed that she had a lover.

The man reportedly got out of bed and kicked the woman in the face, then went into the kitchen, pulled out a knife and he allegedly threatened to “sting” her.

Finally, the alleged aggressor returned to the bedroom, told the victim: “The blood is very scandalous”, and sent her to wash her face.

“The woman was woken up with a blow by her sentimental partner, who apparently made the claim for the dream of her alleged infidelity. The victim also received a kick in the face, whose injury generated a legal medical capacity of 40 days” , detailed Natalia Rendón, Medellín Sectional Director of the Prosecutor’s Office.

After the events, around 4 in the morning, the affected woman took advantage of the fact that the investigated person fell asleep to leave the building and seek refuge in another place.

Montoya Pino was captured on February 13 by the National Police and did not acquiesce to the charge charged. The Medellín Sectional Director of the Prosecutor’s Office confirmed this Thursday that the Prosecutor’s Office obtained an insurance measure in a prison for this man.

Against Edward Vargas Anacona, the indictment was transferred for the crime of aggravated domestic violence in a homogeneous and successive contest, for which he did not accept charges.
