Siguen buscando a Luis Armando, había persona arrastrado por el río Cauca en Jamundí

El joven de 23 años de edad habría desaparecido a la altura del corregimiento de Villa Paz.

En el municipio de Jamundí confirmaron que continúa la intensa búsqueda para dar con informaron que trabajan en la búsqueda de Luis Armando, un hombre de 23 años que en las últimas horas habría sido arrastrado tras una creciente del río Cauca.

Indicaron la emergencia se presentó cuando el hombre al parecer estaba realizando tareas de caza y trató de cruzar el afluente.

Sucedió a la altura del corregimiento de Villa Paz.

Frente a lo sucedido, Giovanni Zapata, de Gestión del Riesgo Jamundí dijo a Blu Radio que la víctima “se encontraba en compañía de otra persona realizando actividades de pesca, debido a las fuertes lluvias el río se encuentra en un nivel alto y lo arrastra la corriente”.

Más de un mes y Denise sigue sin aparecer

En el río Jordan en Jamundí, el pasado 27 de febrero Denise Castañeda López fue arrastrada por la creciente súbita registrada cerca a Charco Escondido, en un sitio de recreación conocido como ‘La Karina’, donde estaba de día de esparcimiento, hasta ahora, no han la encontrado.

«Pedimos que no dejen de buscarla por favor», es el clamor de su familia.

Denise, tiene dos hijas «que hoy están sufriendo mucho por esto», por lo que insisten a los organismos de socorro para que la búsqueda continúe.

Cuando se conoció de su desaparición, las labores de búsqueda  y rescate se hicieron con apoyo de un canino, aguas arriba, por tramos tramos iniciando y terminando en el puente de los Indios. Luego se extendió.

Complejo panorama invernal en el Valle

La situación invernal en el Valle del Cauca es compleja, en las últimas horas desde la Secretaría de Gestión del Riesgo precisaron hay afectaciones por lluvias en varios municipios.

En ese orden de ideas, Jesús Antonio Copete Goez, jefe de dicha cartera, indicó que en las últimas horas se han registrado lluvias en al menos 30 municipios.

Dentro de los cuales hubo novedades en:

  • “Andalucía donde se registraron inundaciones por colapso de alcantarillado y unas 20 familias afectadas».
  • «En Bugalagrande donde hubo inundaciones en los barrios La Planta y La María».
  • «En San Pedro, donde un fuerte aguacero causó aumento del caudal del río tutelar y la quebrada Todos Los Santos, que arrastró una camioneta, situación en la que los ocupantes salieron ilesos”.
  • En el municipio de Jamundí se registraron “inundaciones en los barrios Jardines, Potrerito, Bosques de Alejandría, Oporto, Gaitán y Piloto”
  • Otros municipios que resultaron con afectaciones fueron Roldanillo, Bolívar, Riofrío, El Cerrito, Sevilla, Ginebra, La Cumbre, Zarzal y El Águila.

El periodista Armando Linares ha sido asesinado este martes en Zitácuaro, en el Estado de Michoacán, según ha confirmado la Fiscalía estatal. El ataque ha ocurrido esta tarde “en un domicilio particular”, de acuerdo con el ministerio público. El reportero, director del portal Monitor Michoacán, había denunciado amenazas de funcionarios tras el asesinato en enero del informador Roberto Toledo, que colaboraba con su medio. El de Linares es el octavo crimen del año contra la prensa en México, el país más letal ejercer la profesión fuera de las zonas de guerra.

“Las llamadas de alerta y auxilio de Armando no fueron escuchadas”, han escrito sus colegas en un pronunciamiento difundido este martes tras el atentado y dirigido al presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, “las autoridades fueron omisas”. En el escrito, los reporteros exigen al Gobierno “tomar con toda la seriedad debida los asesinatos, agresiones y violaciones de derechos” contra periodistas en el país. “La rabia, impotencia e indignación no encuentran ya palabras frente a los homicidios de periodistas que se acumulan en México y Michoacán”, se lee.

Medios locales han informado de que Linares fue asesinado en su casa de ocho disparos frente a su familia. El periódico El Sol de Morelia ha asegurado que el reportero había recibido amenazas desde 2019 y responsabilizaba al fiscal del Estado, Adrián López Solís, de actos de corrupción y amedrentamiento. El mismo medio ha afirmado que Linares se había acogido al Mecanismo de Protección a Periodistas “pero por solo unas semanas y después se desistió de la protección”.

Tras el homicidio de Toledo, que fue acribillado a la salida de su oficina el 31 de enero, Linares había reiterado en un vídeo que el equipo que dirigía había recibido amenazas. “El equipo de Monitor Michoacán ha venido sufriendo una serie de amenazas de muerte. Finalmente, estas amenazas se cumplieron y el día de hoy asesinaron a uno de los miembros de nuestro equipo”, denunció entonces Linares. Toledo era el cuarto comunicador asesinado en México este año.

“Exhibir corrupciones de gobiernos, de funcionarios y de políticos nos llevó a la muerte de uno de nuestros compañeros”, había dicho Linares antes de quebrarse en ese video y de quedarse en silencio unos segundos. “No estamos armados, no traemos armas. Nuestra única defensa es una pluma, un lapicero, una libreta”, había dicho, y había asegurado que llevaría las denuncias “hasta las últimas consecuencias”. “Vamos a seguir denunciando corrupciones aunque la vida nos vaya en ello”, había expresado.

Casi una decena de reporteros murieron de forma violenta solo en 2021 en el país, según el Comité para la Protección de los Periodistas (CPJ, por sus siglas en inglés), y en las últimas tres décadas han sido más de 140. Pero más del 95% de los crímenes en México acaban en la impunidad. Los periodistas locales como Linares son los más expuestos a la violencia contra la prensa. La organización Artículo 19, que lleva un conteo de los homicidios de comunicadores, apunta además a que el 40% de los asesinatos recae en funcionarios públicos.

Este año, las noticias sobre las muertes han dado la vuelta la mundo y los cuestionamientos han llegado también desde el exterior. El Gobierno de Estados Unidos criticó en febrero la ola de violencia y las condiciones de trabajo de los reporteros mexicanos. El secretario de Estado Antony Blinken expresó en Twitter que eran “preocupantes” las amenazas que reciben. El jueves, el Parlamento Europeo comunicó que “observa con preocupación las duras y sistemáticas críticas formuladas por las más altas autoridades del Gobierno mexicano contra los periodistas y su labor”.

Pero además las manifestaciones de reporteros en el país y los reclamos de asociaciones de derechos humanos han obligado al Gobierno a comprometerse a aclarar atentados como el que sufrió la periodista Lourdes Maldonado, que fue asesinada en la puerta de su casa en Tijuana después de haber pedido ayuda personalmente y en público al presidente. El mandatario encargó investigar los últimos casos y en las conferencias matutinas ha informado sobre algunos avances, que señalan sobre todo a los autores materiales, pero no a los intelectuales. La violencia, sin embargo, no ha frenado.
