Around 7:50 in the morning, the inhabitants of municipalities in the south of Bolívar, the metropolitan area of Bucaramanga and Magdalena Medio reported a strong tremor that was also felt in neighboring departments such as Antioquia.
According to the Colombian Geological System, the telluric movement was 5.6 degrees with an epicenter in Sana Rosa del Sur, Bolívar, and it was 52 kilometers deep.
