The man accused of murdering last Thursday Nickol Valentinaaged 15, was identified as Pedro Jose Trujillo Perez and is being prosecuted for having stabbed the young woman in the middle of a robbery in Bucaramangawhen she had just left school.
Trujillo, by stealing his cell phone, caused serious injuries to the victim when she was going down the stairs of the Mesón de los Búcaros interchange tunnel. Although Nickol Valentina was helped and quickly transferred to the Santander University Hospital, she died hours later due to the seriousness of her injuries.
Trujillo was captured last Friday in Barrancabermejaafter 24 hours of having committed the crime, and in the last few hours he accepted the charges filed by the Bucaramanga Municipal Criminal Judge of Guarantees.
During the preliminary hearings held this weekend, according to the prosecutor in the case, the man would have said that he saw the girl alone in the tunnel when he decided to attack her.

“During the interrogation he said that he had seen the girl alone in the tunnel, he approached her and grabbed her by the neck, that she managed to free herself, came back and grabbed her by the neck and stabbed her in the neck and another that she does not remember where and flee. That when she left, the girl was still standing, “said the official.
The prosecutor also said that the captured, after arriving home, told a relative that he had to leave Colombia because “the girl died, I did not want to stab the girl.”

“Pedro José Trujillo Pérez acknowledges having done this and that he was in need, that he has a son in Venezuela for whom he has to answer, but who is sorry, “said the prosecutor.
Trujillo accepted the charges filed by the investigating body and it was learned that he had a history of robbery even in the same place where he attacked Nickol Valentina.
