One dead policeman and three wounded is the balance left by an armed attack against a police patrol Cucuta Metropolitan Police in the rural area of this capital.
Armed men attacked the institution’s vehicle with rifle bursts when it was traveling through the Guayabales sector, on the road that leads to the municipality of Port of Santander.
The attack claimed the life of the patrolman Francisco Javier Sanchez Murillo and injured the uniformed Javier Sánchez Burgos, Feisar Escalante and Andrés Franco Castillo, who were transferred to assistance centers.
