Around 4:00 in the afternoon this Wednesday, a landslide was recorded in the downtown area of ​​Manizales. A landslide fell on several houses in the centenary neighborhood.

In the citizen videos it can also be seen that a car and power poles were trapped in the middle of the rubble, mud and earth. At the moment relief agencies are heading to the site to verify the damage and if there are any injuries or fatalities.

“The Official Fire Department of Manizales is heading to a point between the La Castellana and Centenario neighborhoods, where a landslide was recorded a few minutes ago that affected homes in the area. The relief agencies are dealing with this situation, of which we will continue to provide reports as more details become known, “said the municipality’s Risk Management Unit.
