The process was opened when the teacher exercised the functions in a public educational institution of the capital of Valle del Cauca.

According to a statement from the Personería of the District of Calian investigation was opened by alleged commercial sexual exploitationl person under 18 years of age.

In this case, the victim was one of the students who was studying at the Institución Educativa Inem Jorge Isaacs, in the northeast of the city.

The Ombudsman, in charge of Hárold Andrés Cortés Laverde, assumed control tasks in the face of a complaint against the school’s rector and made an analysis of the case.

An investigation was raised for an alleged commercial sexual exploitation, a crime that is typified in article 217A of the Law 599 of 2000which includes the Colombian Penal Code.

The complaint was from a father who would point out that the teacher would pay his daughter and another student for sexual relations.

Due to these facts, the control entity described the rector’s conduct as a very serious offense by way of fraud.

Thus, in the first instance, it filed a ruling with dismissal and general disability for twelve (12) years to the former rector.

The ruling of first instance was appealed by the defendant’s attorney.
