After the announcement by President Iván Duque on the elimination of the use of face masks, The mayor of Bucaramanga announced that this will take place in the city from next March 1.

“From March 1 it will not be compulsory to use of the mask in open spaces Bucaramanga. It’s great news. Thanks to the medical personnel, to all citizens for getting vaccinated and to the unions and businessmen who have fought so hard during the pandemic,” the president said.
The capital of Santander is one of the cities in which the vaccinated population exceeds 70%.
