Although some users hoped that as of today, Thursday, it would no longer be necessary to wear a mask in the Medellín Metro, the transport company clarified that the measure continues. “In the Metro Network, you must continue to wear face masks”announced the company in all its social networks.

“From the Metro we reiterate the call for co-responsibility, to continue implementing constant hand washing, to travel in silence and to use a mask, covering the nose, mouth and chin,” the company explained in a statement.

Under this scenario, The measure is still in force on the lines of the system, metrocables, trams, Metroplús and feeder buses.
