According to the report of the Ministry of Health of this Wednesday, February 9, 2022, 8,785 new cases of covid-19 were reported in Colombia in the last hours. This, after 43,222 tests were processed (19,057 for PCR and 24,165 for antigens).

In the country, to date, 32,585,489 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia reaches 5,994,301 confirmed cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report accounts for 207 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total number of deaths in Colombia amounts to 136,404.
The report also shows that, in total, there are 45,276 cases that remain active in Colombia.
