Covid-19 in Colombia: cases and deaths this March 3, 2022 - Colombia

This Thursday, March 3, 2022, the Ministry of Health delivered a new report on the pandemic in the countrywhich accounts for 1,051 new cases and 40 deaths.

In addition, it reported that 31,137 tests were processed (11,867 for PCR and 19,270 for antigens).

In the country, to date, 33,281,725 ​​tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia reaches 6,068,074 confirmed cases of coronavirus since the pandemic began, in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report accounts for 40 more deaths from the virus. With this update, the total death toll in Colombia amounts to 138,939.

In the last 24 hours, in addition, 1,891 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 5,895,880 patients who have overcome covid-19 in the country to date.

In total, there are 11,351 cases that remain active in Colombia.

Regarding the progress of the National Vaccination Plan, the health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 pm on March 1, 77,655,719 doses of the vaccine against covid-19 have been applied in the country. Of that figure, 35,233,790 correspond to the first dose; 27,480,688, second dose; 8,715,348, a booster dose, and 6,175,589 are for the single-dose vaccine.

In Colombia, 33,706,581 people already have the complete vaccination schedule.
