According to the report of the Ministry of Health on Wednesday, February 16, 4,142 new cases of covid-19 were reported in Colombia, a slight increase in the figure compared to that registered this Tuesday, which registered 3,731. This, after 35,659 tests were processed (13,654 for PCR and 22,005 for antigens).

In the country, to date, 32,829,672 tests have been processed. Thus, Colombia reaches 6,031,130 confirmed coronavirus cases since the pandemic began in March 2020.

On the other hand, the report accounts for 147 more deaths from the virus compared to the 138 that were registered on Tuesday. With this update, the total number of deaths in Colombia amounts to 137,586.
In the last 24 hours, in addition, 3,646 recovered patients were reported. Thus, there are already 5,848,305 patients who to date have overcome covid-19 in the country.

As for the progress of National Vaccination Planthe health authority reported that, with a cutoff at 11:59 pm on February 14, 75,086,726 doses of the covid-19 vaccine. Of that figure, 34,943,730 correspond to the first dose; 26,834,675, second dose; 7,292,101, to booster doses, and 6,016,220 are from the single dose vaccine.
