The National Unemployment Committee It has just announced that the mobilizations scheduled for next March 3 will not take place. They point out that “there are no guarantees for the mobilization in Colombia by the national government.”

The announcement to postpone the marches prior to the legislative elections on March 13 it was done in the company of representatives of different unions and youth organizations.

At a press conference, the Committee’s spokesmen assured that the reasons that have produced the disagreement to carry out a new national mobilization are still intact, however, they do not consider that at this time the security conditionsd necessary for this social manifestation.

For the time being, the Committee has not notified a new date for mobilizationsHowever, this decision will be made in the coming days in accordance with political conditions and security guarantees in the country.
