BOGOTA COLOMBIA). Thursday, February 10, 2022 (RPTV NEWS AGENCY). The recent attack on the Infantry Battalion in Granada, Meta, makes the situation of violence in Colombia more critical, the terrorist action left 2 soldiers killed and more than 30 wounded.
These acts of vandalism, affirms Defense Minister Diego Molano, are the product of interference by illegal armed groups in the electoral process.
“Colombia as a whole must surround the soldiers and not allow these terrorist groups to seek to carry out these actions for political purposes to influence and destabilize,” said the head of the military portfolio.
With this there are already 3 terrorist attacks so far in 2022, on February 7 it was the 30th Brigade of the Army in Cúcuta, which had already received an attack in 2021, and on February 27 several military units and Police officers were attacked simultaneously in Cesar and Norte de Santander.
