This Tuesday, Pereira Y twoquebradas they experienced one of the greatest tragedies of their last years. A landslide left 16 people dead and more than 34 injured.
A video taken by people close to the Avenida del Río sector reveals the distressing moments that families in the area experienced.

“The river is represented. Evacuate, please evacuate, the river upstream is being dammed!”, Are the cries of a woman who cries out to her neighbors to get out of her houses.
While going through the area, repeat: “Come out, come out, please save yourselves! Get the children out,” the woman shouts as she calls for an ambulance or a car to transport an injured person.

At the scene of the events, the authorities are still removing debris and looking for the two alleged people who would be there. The authorities are not certain that they were found at the scene, since relatives have not yet appeared to ask about them.
The removal of debris will continue throughout the day by relief agencies and also with yellow machinery.
