The death of Cheslie Kryst, who was crowned Miss USA in 2019, has caused a stir in the modeling world. The New York police reported that Kryst took her own life by jumping from the residential building where she lived in the city of Manhattan on January 30 in the morning.
The also lawyer specializing in civil litigation made a final post on her Instagram account, in which she shared this message “May this day bring you rest and peace” followed by a heart emoji. The photograph, which at the moment has more than half a million likes, also generated various reactions, in which some celebrities stand out, such as that of Sofía Aragón, Mexico’s representative to Miss Universe in 2019.
“Queen! I’m still waiting for someone to tell me this isn’t true. My sister forever. we walk together in the Top 20, hand in hand, walking and laughing. You will be forever in my heart. Rest in peace and beautiful sister, you will not be forgotten, “wrote the model.
Similarly, other ‘influencers’ and celebrities such as Snoop Dogg dedicated a posthumous message to Cheslie Kryst.

Who was Cheslie Kryst?
Without a doubt, Cheslie’s death is a great loss for the world of modeling and entertainment, since Cheslie was the living example of a prepared, intelligent and beautiful woman. She was a correspondent for an entertainment program on the Extra network. She was an attorney specializing in civil matters and also had an MBA from Wake Forest University. In addition, during her university studies she practiced athletics.
Her family, in a statement, shared a few words to remember her:
“It is with devastation and great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our beloved Cheslie. It was her great light that inspired others around the world with her beauty and strength.
