Deputy Ferley Sierra broadcast live on his Facebook how he made an appointment for the issuance of the passport through a processor to whom he paid more than 120,000 pesos.
The deputy recorded the entire process inside the office and accused several employees of being part of the network, including the door watchman.
“The officials are part of this network of thieves who have bled the department dry, the Aguilars are a gang of criminals and they send the Police to intimidate me,” the deputy shouted while complaining to the Secretary of the Interior, Camilo Arenas.
After that video, Mauricio Aguilar, governor of Santander, made a statement against the deputy.
“We are not going to allow more attacks against government officials. Just as we have denounced the processors, I instructed the Director of the Passport Office to report Ferley Sierra to control entities. What happened today was disrespect and alteration of public order,” said the president.
The complaint made by the deputy was already known in the Prosecutor’s Office where they are investigating who would be behind the illegal procedures to make an appointment in the entity.
The governor visited the place and also did a Facebook Live where he asked people how they had gotten the appointment and one person told him that he had paid 150,000 pesos to a process, which put the fact in evidence.
