A woman went viral for tying up her husband to take him to vaccinate against COVID-19. The events occurred in Río Largo, in Alagoas, Brazil.
At this point in 2022 and with waves of omicron infections still present in most countries, many people are still reluctant to receive immunization, such is the case of this man who ended up in the ward of a health center because of the drastic decision of his wife: tie him up and take him to vaccinate.
The video was shared on TikTok and currently has more than 2.6 million views, more than 175 thousand likes and more than 5 thousand comments. “A man tied up to take the vaccine” is the title that accompanies the video published by the account @portalpolemico, which shows a man sitting tied to his arms with a rope and his wife standing in front of him, apparently both waiting for the turn.
Most of the reactions celebrated the position of the woman, and even the user Ester Barbosa asked that this woman be made president of Brazil by 2022. On the other hand, some comments realized that the woman did not respect the will of her husband or her right to decide. In the same way, certain users questioned the medical authorities who must act according to the will of the patients.

Given the increase in cases of COVID-19, some countries have tightened health measures for unvaccinated people, which in turn has caused various protests around the world, such as in Canada, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Spain, France, Germany , among others.
