Barranquilla: the new schedule of Transmetro - Barranquilla - Colombia

In order to guarantee the provision of the service to all users, Transmetro announced that, as of Monday, February 14, the operation corresponding to business days and Saturdays will be extended until 10:00 p.m. in Barranquilla and its metropolitan area.

According to the massive system, it is part of a pilot plan for 15 days, and with which they will evaluate the demand of users between 9:00 pm and 10:00 pm, to define if said expansion is left permanently.

In this sense, the last services of routes S1 and S2 to Portal de Soledad will be dispatched at 10:00 pm on business days and Saturdays.

Trunk operation starts from usual way at 5:00 amwith the departure of the first trunk routes R1 and B1 bound for the Joe Arroyo and Parque Cultural stations, respectively.

The manager of Transmetro, Fernando Isaza, stated that “from the Mass Transportation System we continue to adjust the operation according to the reopening of new sectors, mainly education, once academic activities have been restarted in person.”

Hours on Sundays and holidays

Meanwhile, the operation on Sundays and holidays is extended for one more hour, that is, until 9:00 p.m.starting regularly at 5:30 am

The schedules and service intervals of the trunk and feeder routes can be consulted on the system’s social networks.

The entity added that it has enabled the customer service line 6053712222 or on the Twitter account @transmetrobaq, as well as facilitators at the stations to answer questions from passengers.
