The Uruguayan Sebastián Cáceres, defender of the Mexican soccer team, considered this Friday that the competition with his compatriots who are in European football has kept him from being called up to the national team.
“The competition that I have in my position is tough. All those who have been called are in Europe, from there they get that advantage because the level they are playing is a little higher and it is one of the biggest factors why Diego Alonso takes the decision,” he explained at a press conference.
